Why we built this

I'm Tony. I'm not a guy who has it figured out. I'm a dad of two, running on the sleep I can get, with a corporate day job that has nothing to do with any of this.
I've been a trainer since 2012. Gym floors, the Bay Club, then my own coaching business. Hundreds of clients. These days I coach dads.
Before the kids, I trained people for a living for years. I know how to build a program. What I didn't understand, until I was the one up at 3am, is how useless most of that advice is for a dad with forty-five minutes and no gas left in the tank. The plans all assume time you don't have and energy you spent hours ago.
I'm also a veteran, and I'm sober. Both of those taught me the same thing the hard way. You don't win the day with one big heroic push. You win it by doing the next small thing, over and over, especially when you don't feel like it. Especially tired.
So that's what this is. Every Sunday I write one short letter to dads like me. No hype, no guilt about the workout you missed. Just the honest version, from one tired guy to another, about keeping your body and your patience in one piece while there are little kids in the house.
The whole thing runs on one idea: it all counts. The ten minutes count. The walk counts. The night you rest instead counts. You never start over.
From the dads I've coached
“My cholesterol was climbing and my doctor told me to make changes. Tony's coaching helped me lose 22 pounds, improve my labs, and create habits I can actually maintain.”
“I wanted to stay healthy as I got older. Tony emphasized longevity instead of ego lifting. My mobility improved, I gained strength, and I feel better than I have in over a decade.”
“I wanted to lose weight before my daughter's graduation. Eight months later I was down 34 pounds and actually enjoyed working out again. Tony kept me accountable without making me feel guilty.”
Real coaching clients, 2012 to today. Names changed for privacy.
Your kids don't need a perfect dad. They need one who's there, and being there takes a body that works. If that sounds like your life, get the letter. It comes with Baseline, the 15-minute workout, tonight. I read every reply.
Strong for my kids now. Strong for their kids at seventy.
