One honest letter, every Sunday
The thinking behind the training, the proof behind every rule, and the stuff dads don’t say out loud. Written by Tony, a dad of two with a corporate day job. Letter 001 is below. A new one lands every Sunday and gets posted here after. For the practical questions, the straight answers live in the field notes.

10.9 percent, and a pinch
I got a DEXA scan Wednesday. 10. 9 percent. In January it read 15. 9.

I signed up for something
I'm doing Hyrox in December. Nothing's paid, registration isn't even open. But a date does something maintenance can't, and this week I'm asking you to put one on something.

The car seat is a battle
We're in Nevada, it's 105 out, and the car seat is a full-body fight. The rep that mattered this week was loosening my grip, starting with a tin cup.

I'm tired too
It's 9pm, the kids are down, and the last thing I want to do is anything. What works: the smallest possible thing, before your brain gets a vote.
Get the next one Sunday morning.
